Through consistent outreach efforts, Street Angels is assisting our neighbors without homes in bridging the gaps between homelessness and housing. Thanks to community support, our team is making an immediate impact while advocating for connections to vital, long-term resources that provide shelter, permanent housing, and access to AODA treatment and recovery.

"Street Angels saved my life, they found me and cared for me until I started to care about myself again."

COMMUNITY COLLABORATION

2022 was a big year for collaborating with service partners! Through these partnerships we are able to provide individuals with assistance in accessing resources such as shelter, housing and treatment services. Some of our partners include Milwaukee County Housing First, Milwaukee Fire Department, West-Allis Fire Department, Community Medical Services, Hunger Task Force and Wisconsin Community Services.

COMMUNITY POWER

On January 20, 2022, tragedy struck Street Angels when arson was committed to the outreach buses. One bus was completely destroyed and the other obtained extensive damage. However, the community ensured we did not skip a beat! Our partners at Hunger Task Force stepped up and provided a replacement vehicle to for temporary use. By March, with a generous donation from The Strattec Foundation, Street Angels was able to purchase a new bus. Thanks to our community, not ONE outreach day was missed!

The community poured their hearts into the Street Angels mission to keep us going. Your inspiration was felt whole-heartedly by our team and our friends that we serve.

"Please tell all your volunteers and people who donate, THANK YOU! Some days I don't know what I would do without Street Angels."
